The еxhibition season in the Studio started in May with the opening of the show “New Paintings” by the Russian artist Alexander Zhernokluev who was born in Ukraine. Twelve paintings from the new opus “Men games” were presented. According to many art reviewers Mr. Zhernoklyuev’s art will occupy stable positions on the new Russian-Ukraine art scene. They think that works exhibited in the Studio represent him in the best way.
Special performance was organized for the exhibition closing night. Alexander Zhernokluev drew three oils on canvases: a portrait, a landscape and an abstraction in front of the audience. Guests of the night were Jelena Stanisavljevic, “Luj Davico” music school concert master Ivan Markovic and Music Academy students, who sang Russian and Ukrainian poems and romances. The show was very good accepted by visitors, art reviewers and by media representatives.
