At the begining of May Studio started its exhibiting season with the group exhibition of eight young artists from Great Britain. They presented their art to Valjevo and Serbian audience which included classic art works, photographies, installations and video presentations. The English group of eight: Michale Walton, Simon Nixon, Jazzel Gaerty, Marry Fitzpatrick, Geoffrey Parr, Ben Parry, Lorence Kassidy and Lee Cavaliere. Without flirtation to the high-ranking art this “Island’s Octet” does what one lucide review called “every day miracle”. Propagating the most unincompatible criterias they simply demolish them withot a compromise or at least make them suspecious. After premiere in the International Art Studio this exhibition was moved to the “Golden Eye” gallery in Novi Sad and after that was tranfered to the “Ciltural Center Gallery” in Nis. English artists left three representative works and their show was highly accepted by aodience and reviewers and it excited huge interest.
