Studio’s guest in May was Polish artist Wieslaw Janasz who had an exhibition “Art, Love and World without the Boundaries”. At the opening night ceremony Studio awarded Mr. Jansz for the best exhibition in 1998 and gave thanks to its donors Momcilo Todorovic and Slobodan Krivokapic, both collectors. During the ceremony Mr. Todorovic donated valuable painting by Macedonian academic painter Petar Mazev while Mr. Krivokapic’s donation made us equip the new office. Motive of Mr. Janasz’s works are figures of “universal being” and “complicated man in the complicated situations”. He also presented works painted in the Studio’s Atelier while staying in our town. Those artistic achievements were done by combine technique on wood and were inspired with cyrillic. Mr. Janasz named that opus “Calligraphic Toy” and classed it in the free artistic expression category so called “the first hand gesture”. The exhiobition excited huge interest in public and media, too.
