At the beginig of August the show of four well known Greek artist Eva Mela, Petros Karystinos, Liana Melysaratou and Nikos Krystoforakis was open. Under the authority of the Greek Artists Society Presedent Eva Mela, artists from Greece came to Belgrade during NATO bombing to participate in the event “Painting Against Bombs” organized by Serbian Artistic Society. Petros Karyistinos builds paitings using combine technique, mosaic and collage, where dominate elements of demolished. Eva Mela focuses on face details, especially interested in human eyes, and Iliana Melisaratou who is also inspired by bombing tragedy morphs hard emotions into apstract paintings. Opposite to them Nikos Kristoforakis present himself as a realist, master of drawings. Presedent of the Serbian Artistic Society Mr. Dragoslav Krnjajski opened this show. The show was extremely well accepted by visitors, audience, media and got very good art critics.
